My travel started on the 16th of April to England. I had set up some main ideas and a 'plan A' for what I was going to do during my stay. My plane was supposed to take off at 17:15 but sadly it got delayed by 15... wait, 30.. no, let's just say a full hour. Nonetheless, I arrived 15 minutes earlier because of course England has a time of 0+ GMT and we have one of 1+GMT. My aunt came to pick me up at the airport and drove me over to the rest of the people residential in the house (the two oldest kids are out of the house and they have a guest who is so much fun to talk to), where I had a lovely supper before I prepped myself for bed. Today it's the 17th, I had to rise and shine towards 9 o'clock, ready to head-out. I first went with my uncle to his allotment to open up the tunnels. Once we had done that we met the landlord and helped out there. I worked together with Mary, replanting and pinching the plants into bigger pots. With pinching, I mean that we take off parts of the top so that it will grow better. Michael was making space and re-placing the barrels so that we had a place to lay our work down. In the four hours of hard work we, together, laid down 134 trays filled with 15 plants. So 134 X 15 = 2010 plants were re-potted, ready to continue growing and to be sold. In between, we had a short tea break and we gave the robin his/her breakfast. At the end of the working day, my uncle took me into town and we had some lunch before taking me home. There I started writing this when my cousin came back home with his assistant.
What were the plants that needed pinching? (And did they squeal like in that scene in one of the Harry Potter films?) - Andreas
